Today, Coraline and her sweetheart reunite after 9 years of living together. Her choice of heels at DMUS was a real no-brainer after trying out the concept with her boot! She prioritized comfort to keep her beautiful shoes on all day and night. Will you follow her advice ? ;)

The encounter and the proposal :
After 9 and a half years of living together and a baby, my dear one decided to ask for my hand last summer, on Wednesday, August 22nd. Taking advantage of our son's nap time to take a dip in the pool, he brought us 2 beers and asked me if I wanted to become his wife with a beer in hand and in the pool !
The most memorable moment :
There were two truly memorable moments on our wedding day: the secular ceremony where all our loved ones made touching testimonies, and the fireworks that we were fortunate to have, which kicked off the evening.
The venue :
We got married at La Grange de Bourgoult in Vexin, an old Templar commandery from the 13th century surrounded by fields and greenery. We wanted a wedding that reflected us: rustic and sophisticated, mixing humor and emotion.
The inspirations :
We used Pinterest and Amazon, not very original! Pinterest for decoration inspiration and Amazon to buy things as cheaply as possible. We tried to do as much DIY as possible. There were a lot of flowers in our decoration, and we naturally trusted a local florist (Mimosa) who is used to decorating the place.
For my witnesses' outfits, I went through Les mariées de Prune, they were all in pleated skirts and white tops.
The creation of the shoes :
The choice was obvious ! I went directly through the website to create my shoes. I've known DMUS for several years and already have a pair of boots !
My advice: don't choose heels that are too high to avoid foot pain, and opt for a square heel to be stable and enjoy until the end of the night ! For everything else, ENJOY YOURSELF! You only get married once, so have no regrets !
The bride's advice :
Excel was our best friend throughout the organization. We had a spreadsheet where we summarized everything: budget by expense category, guest list and responses, ideas, to-do list, etc. This helped us a lot to manage the timing of each task.
For the big day, we delegated many tasks to our witnesses so we had fewer things to think about and could enjoy it to the fullest !
