"Timothé and I met 7 years ago at a party at a friend's house. The funny thing is that neither of us was supposed to go! Once there, he came and sat next to me to chat. A month later we were dating!
For the request, we had gone away for a weekend to the Côte d'Azur. One evening, he took me to a restaurant. Shortly after ordering, a photographer suggested we go and take some photos on the beach, and we agreed. We posed, took a few photos and then the young woman thanked us, when Timothé asked if we could take one last photo. He then turned to me, got down on one knee and proposed!!!! A magical moment!"
"There were so many defining moments during our wedding, it's hard to pick just one! I think the most memorable moment of this wonderful day for me was entering the Church. First of all, when I arrived, I saw all the people who were there for us, and then as we walked along I saw Timothé, who had tears in his eyes - it was so moving!
But we were also very moved by all the surprises our parents, witnesses and friends had in store for us: song, balloon release, speeches, video and even flashmob! We had an unforgettable wedding!"
"We got married at Domaine de la Butte Ronde, a truly magical place!
The estate is immense, with greenery as far as the eye can see, lakes with swans and charming little white bridges. Pretty chalets scattered among the trees provide accommodation for (almost) all guests on the evening of the wedding. The cocktail area is warm and inviting, a small paved courtyard with a fountain in the middle. And the evening takes place in a glass roof offering a panoramic view over the entire estate!"
"For our wedding, we wanted something elegant and romantic. We chose the color "purple" because we both love it and it's a color that works very well for a wedding, without being too feminine. We also wanted to give a nod to Timothé's goddaughter, whose name is Prune. For the rest, a lot of our inspiration came from Pinterest, as well as from weddings we'd already attended. I made the tableware (menus, labels, favor boxes) by hand, with the help of my mother, whom I'd like to thank very much! For the flowers, we were lucky enough to have a friend of my in-laws who is a floral decorator, Tatiana Seignovert. She gave me a lot of advice, and it was she who made all the flowers: bouquets, buttonholes, as well as the floral decoration for the church. A true artist!
"I wanted purple shoes to go with the theme we had chosen and to surprise my man. However, I knew that it would be IMPOSSIBLE to find the right purple AND the right shoe shape/heel height/etc. in the shops.
After a bit of research, I found "Dessine-moi un soulier", which some friends had already told me about. I did a few simulations on the site, then decided to go to the showroom to look at the different models and try on the shoes. I then met Enea, a very friendly consultant who showed me the creations in store, as well as the different materials and colors available. So we set about creating "my" pair of shoes: round closed pumps in purplish velvet, 8 cm heel, with a fine multicolored sequin bow at the back. A jewel! I even call them my Cinderella shoes.
I really advise brides-to-be to go to the showroom because it allows you to try on the shoes, see the colors in daylight, get advice: Enea was able to advise me on the advantages of each last/material/etc. What's more, I was able to leave with a sample of the color of my shoes, enabling me to match my other accessories!"
My advice is to have fun! It can be a very stressful day: you're expecting a lot of people, you've prepared a lot of things and you want everything to go according to plan. But it's important to remember that everyone present is there for you, that they're happy to come and share this moment with you and, above all, that they have absolutely no idea what you've planned and won't even notice if there's anything crooked or going a little differently.
You really have to make the most of this magical day, which goes by at breakneck speed (one day after a year of preparations is a short time!).
Another little tip: take a break for a few days after your wedding. It doesn't have to be very far, but it really does prolong the pleasure and ensures that you don't come down to earth too quickly after this magical moment!
Dress: I found the dress at O'Scarlett, a multi-brand boutique where the consultants are truly adorable, especially Laura Bertozzi, who helped me with my choice and all the necessary alterations. http://www.oscarlett.com
Styling: I had my hair done by Viviane Vaissières from Salon Franck Pascal in Asnières-Sur-Seine, a true magician! I'd always dreamed of having my wedding hairstyle done, and she understood exactly what I wanted and pulled it off to perfection!
Make-up Ludivine Calvo, who works in partnership with Franck Pascal Salon in Neuilly-sur-Seine, did both my and my mother's make-up. She's a very nice young woman, and above all, very talented at making you look your best.
Flowers: Tatiana Seignovert did all the flowers for the ceremony. She is an incredibly kind and talented woman! Here are the links to her Facebook page and Instagram account: https://www.facebook.com/tatiana.seignovert?fref=ts https://www.instagram.com/tatianaseignovert/
Photographer: For the photos, we called on Freddy Fremond, whom we had met at the wedding of a couple of friends. He's an exceptional photographer: not only is he talented, but he's also discreet and very good at giving advice! And to top it all off, we had the first photos the week after our wedding, and the complete DVD of all the photos in just two weeks! http://freddyfremond.fr
The photobooth We also rented a Sharing Box, which was a real treat! Everyone joined in the fun, and the result is really great! Not only did we get lots of photos to add to our guest book, but we also got back all the digital photos taken during the evening. I can't recommend it highly enough! http://www.sharingbox.ch
The caterer : For the caterer we chose Grand Chemin Traiteur, whom we also met at the wedding of a couple of friends. They are really very good. Both in terms of business relations for the preparation of the event, and in terms of the quality of the products and their presentation. The team on the big day was really top-notch: the maître d'hôtel was very efficient and all the waiters very friendly. http://grandchemin.fr
