Preferred materials
Materials to choose for your creations: goat leathers, thanks to their finesse and suppleness.
They're so comfortable to wear, and come in the most beautiful colors!
These are our velvet, viperine and iridescent leathers.
We're not going to recommend patent leathers, sequins or glitter on the body of the shoe (where the toes pass), as these are, on the contrary, very rigid materials.
However, when it comes to straps, heels, front skates, accessories and backs: anything goes!
Shoe shape and fit
We recommend certain lasts for women's shoes with wide feet, but we're not going to recommend them:
- Pointed-toe pumps are too tight in classic widths and have an unsightly shape in XL widths.
- Moccasins, whose upward slap will bother wide feet (even if we play on width, the thickness at the instep will bother you).
We recommend round-toe shapes: ballerina, escarpin, richelieu - and especially the Charlotte model for sandals, as it perfectly encompasses and dresses wide feet.
Fitting and care tips
To get a good idea of your width, we recommend measuring it in the morning. Here you'll find all our tips for measuring your lengths and widths so you don't get it wrong.
If you have any doubts, we are at your disposal by videoconference. (click here)by whatsapp at 6 66 54 98 69 or email contact@dmus.fr.
Then, if you have particularly sensitive feet, we recommend you order a leather-softening product such as Shoe-Eze from Saphir.
