Meet Coraline and her boyfriend, who said yes after 9 years together. Her choice of DMUS pumps was an obvious choice after testing the concept with her bootie! She prioritized comfort to keep her beautiful shoes on all day and night, so will you follow her advice? 😉

The meeting
After 9 and a half years together and a baby, my beloved decided to ask for my hand in marriage last summer, on Wednesday August 22. Taking advantage of our son's nap to take a dip in the pool, he brought us 2 beers and asked me if I wanted to become his wife, beer in hand and in the pool!
Most vivid memory:
There were two really memorable moments on our wedding day: the secular ceremony, where all our nearest and dearest gave us moving testimonials, and the fireworks display we were lucky enough to have, which kicked off the evening.

Location:
We got married at La grange de Bourgoult in the Vexin, a former 13th-century Templar commandery surrounded by fields and greenery. We wanted a wedding that reflected our image: rustic and sophisticated, with a mix of humor and emotion.
Inspiration:
We used Pinsterest and Amazon, not very original! Pinterest for decorating inspiration and Amazon to buy as cheaply as possible. We tried to do as much DIY as possible. There were lots of flowers in our decor, so naturally we trusted a local florist (Mimosa) who is used to decorating the place.
For my witnesses' outfits, I went through Prune's bridesThey were all wearing pleated skirts and white tops.

Shoe design:
The choice was obvious! I went directly to the website to create my shoes. I've known DMUS for several years and I already have a pair of boots!
My advice: don't wear too high a heel to avoid foot pain, and opt for a square heel to keep your feet stable and enjoy the night! As for the rest, ENJOY YOURSELF! You only get married once, so don't have any regrets!
Bride's advice:
Excel was our best friend for all the organization. We had a spreadsheet in which we summarized what we needed: budget by expense item, guest list and responses, ideas, to-do list etc. It was a great help in managing the timing of each task.
For the big day, we delegated a lot of tasks to our witnesses, so that we'd have as little to think about as possible and could make the most of it!
