Today we follow the story of Mathilde, a great love story and a beautiful wedding!<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Encounter and demand<\/h3>\n\t

We met in 2017, at a back-to-school student gala, and immediately fell in love!<\/p>\n

The proposal took place on the shores of Lake Como during a trip to Milan in April 2022. Everything was magical! Funny enough, my custom-made ring didn't arrive in time for the trip, so the jewelry store lent her a fake ring with fake diamonds (of course, I didn't know until after the fact!!).<\/p>\n

A rather funny anecdote is that our respective parents were each looking for an apartment in Paris in 2016 (without knowing each other) (mine wanted to buy bigger, his returning from New York to live in Paris) after our meeting, when Cyril came to the house we realized that it was on the apartment that my parents had bought that his parents had made an offer that had been declined in favor of my parents! We almost lived in the same apartment!<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

A vivid memory of the day<\/h3>\n

Perhaps the most vivid memory is entering the church on my dad's arm.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The dream location<\/h3>\n

We got married in the magnificent Ch\u00e2teau de Robernier (Var)! We fell in love with the Ch\u00e2teau when we visited in 2022! It's a real princess's ch\u00e2teau, and the ch\u00e2teau's inner courtyard is perfect for outdoor dining!<\/p>\n

The atmosphere was a magical one, a bit like a fairy tale, we didn't have a theme to our wedding, it was a classic wedding, just like us!!!!<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Dress inspiration<\/h3>\n

Choosing my dresses was pretty straightforward! I had one idea in mind: a boat-neck princess dress, so when I came across the Hope model from pronovias, I knew it was the one for me (it's the only one I've ever tried on).<\/p>\n

For the civil ceremony, I wanted a long dress that I could wear again for the church wedding dinner. I wanted a more contemporary dress with lace on the top and fluid on the bottom, and I fell in love with the Delon model from Chez Laure de Sagazan - it's also the only model I tried on!<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Shoe design inspirations<\/h3>\n

When designing the shoes, I wanted comfortable but high shoes!!! Being only 1m60 tall and my husband 1m80 tall, I wanted a 10cm heel! So I opted for the Salom\u00e9 10cm square heel!<\/p>\n

For the color I wanted golden princess shoes so I went with glitter champagne and iridescent champagne! It was sublime! Thank you so much, draw me a shoe!<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Consulting and service providers<\/h3>\n

My advice to brides is to choose your service providers carefully, to trust each other and to go with your gut feeling! My wedding wouldn't have been the same without my make-up artist, photographer or caterer! Their patience, attentiveness and kindness kept me stress-free! Knowing that everything was perfectly managed was a real relief!<\/p>\n
